4. And the night before Fitzmas ....

It was the night before Fitzmas and all through the house
DU was pumped ......
We are going to get that louse.

22 Indictments were sealed and under the tree
could those be the presents that set us all free.

Rove paced 'round his office in a terrible huff
the Secret Service let in Gannon to give him a quick puff.

And down the hall sweating like pig was a man called Libby
He called Dick and started to cry, "It was just one little fibby."

But their were more indictments then for just the two ....
and in the oval office crying & drinking was you know who.

5. Yeah--I've got way too much time on my hands . . .

'Twas the night before Fitzmas, and at the White House
The leaker was sweating as befits such a louse.

The evidence was ready, prepared with a great care
in hopes that indictments soon would be there

Bush with his twitch and Chaney with his sneer
were pacing and frightened that the end was so near.
The Blogs and the Media were all full of much chatter
but Laura was clueless and asked, "What's the matter?"

Bush just exploded and yelled at his wife,
"Shut up you twit, I'm in the fight of my life.
The evidence has fallen on the grand jury's ear
and it looks like the results will be my worst fear."

7. I don't get it

I don't understand the unbridled optimism around this issue. Hate to bust the party, but I don't These guys are teflon. I think this investigation is all one big setup somehow. Either they will find some small fish to take the hit-like perhaps that Filipino guy. Or it's all just to make us think there are still checks and balances and we don't live in a dictatorship. This investigation has been two years of teasing.
