There have been 1954 US Troops killed in Iraq.

1. wow, we are so close to 2000

almost same number of people that died in Sept 11., or a little more than. We have lost 4,000 American lives and countless other lives from all over the world because of this. Shame is hanging over my head so much. We all should have done more to keep this from happening. I feel guilty that i didn't do enough. Not having a pity party, but just man...when will it end.

2. Yes, we will bear some collective karma over all of this....

The shame will be on our souls for a long time. And ironically the socipaths will have no bad feelings at all.

In hindsight what could we have done? I remember the theft of the first election, I felt so powerless. I was very angry and very vocal and lost some friends who to this day do not speak to me. But we should have done more? What?
