anybody know where th 'Secret' website for Medicare prescription drug card
Edited on Sun Oct-09-05 04:14 PM by sam sarrha
is...

they changed the rules/application for the poorest drug card holders..

they are not going to re-mail the information, that costs too much, so there is a website you are supposed to go to.. i cant find it.

my mother only gets $635 a month SS, and she has a serious heart condition and is going blind.

they audited her last month and found a 20 year old 1 CENT error in her check so she lost some of that check...

they wont audit Halliburton but harass an 84 year old blind woman for 1 cent.. and Halliburton cant find $8,000,000,000..and that is OK

And, if you need help with this PM me. My husband is literally a nationally recognized expert on the Medicare Modernization Act and Managed Care. Seriously.

5. God almighty---they audited your mother?
As an older person on SS myself this infuriates me.

I didn't know they could go back 20 years---Jesus!

..wink/wink/nod/nod lots of money in searching for those cheating old folks..

i once applied for a poverty program job help thing.. the guy was asking such weird questions i finally asked what he was doing.. he just flat admitted he got 20% of all the grant money for auditing each applicant for fraud.. i could not get it because i was homeless and was staying in a friends basement.. they wanted all kinds of income info from them.. i said i wasn't going to ask them personal questions... i was a guest. i picked up the papers and started to leave and he grabbed the papers..

i wouldn't let go, we had a shouting match and played tug of war for a while .. i got my info and ran out of the building... it was really scary.. they were going to audit my friends for helping me.. cause i had a bad back and couldn't get any kind of help elsewhere.
