EXTREMELY timely. Vinick promised the Religious Right Guy that he would give them approval of SC judicial noms. It was a blatant lie. He never intended to do it. He asked the guy not to tell, and then the guy promptly leaked to Drudge. Vinick wouldn't confirm or deny, and Religious Right Guy was jumping up and down pissed! They had to have Creepy Religious VP Candidate come in and smooth things over.

On the Santos front, they had Santos saying Kerry's deadly line: "I voted for it before I voted against it." Actually the explaination Santos gave of why he changed his vote was perfect, but of course, the press will never play it.

And if anyone ever needed proof that West Wing is fantasy, they had Chris Matthews on in a cameo going after Vinick (R) on the judges thing.

They're showing new episodes on there now. No new episodes till Tuesday though. Tonight they're going to show season six.

It was clear that both candidates are trying to stay on message and not answer specific questions.

At some point Santos said that he agreed with Vinick (that the Minutemen are vigilante) and this was a No No. By the way, the founder of the Minutemen stole enough votes from the Republican front runner in CA-48 to force a runoff.

And, yes, it is a fantasy. A moderate, likable Republican candidate who does not want to have anything to do with the religious wrong. As was also last season.

9. Didn't happen this week

It happens next week. I don't think it's CJ. I could be wrong. I also last night had this feeling that someone will betray Aldan's character. It just was a strange thing watching it and viewing what was going on. I also thought it was sweet what that one guy did at the end and he left and his little twins saying "Santos." I also love what Aldan's character said about the judges. Too bad he didn't really stand up in public. *sigh* I guess winning is more important. Plus how great is Aldan doing on the show? I'm loving him on there!
