1. Clinton was charged with Perjury. |
|
So far, no one in this admin has been charged with treason.

2. Depends what you mean by "accused of"... |
|
Sure, right-wing lunatics accused Clinton of treason, saying he sold nuclear secrets to the Chinese (yeah, I think it's insane too).
But by the same token, as it stands now, the only people accusing Bush of treason are on the other side of the political fence -- we may have more room to stand on than the right-wingers did, but it's still just talk.

4. I was thinking of the appalling outrage of actually outing one of |

our spies....the absolute evil of doing such a thing to our country. We know the pukes did this....she was actually named. This is treason. I just didn't know if Ken Starr even accused Clinton of treason or any other president being accused by a real prosecutor of treason.

5. Oh! No, Starr never accused Clinton of anything so serious... |
|
On the other hand, I doubt Fitzgerald will accuse anyone of treason either. The law in question right now isn't treason, it's something about a federal employee divulging the name of a CIA operative. Not as serious as treason, carries a sentence of some 5 or 10 years, IIRC.
Sure, we'd all like more, but I'd settle for Rove and/or Libby getting nailed with this, with the possibility of conspiracy charges leveled at others in the administration (as iffy as I am on the whole concept of "conspiracy to commit..." crimes in general)

3. I don't know if he was ever 'officially' accused of treason, but there |
|
were LEGIONS of Reich Wing whores screaming treason, murder, and more; the Reich Wing spent 8+ years hating Bill, Hillary, Chelsea, and in the most personal and destructive terms possible. That's why they are so shrill about 'Bush-haters...' it's their whole MO. Accuse the other guy of that which you are guilty, and the sheeple will buy it.
