Mayor Jim West's (shown as "Wesr" at the site) closeted homosexuality is only scandalous in that he spent his whole career in the WA legislature, and then as Mayor fighting hard against gay rights.

Scandalous because he is alleged to have targeted very young boys....as young as 11 and 12 years old. At some point he decided to make certain they were of legal age, and trolled for (young looking) 18 year olds. I've heard that he frequented local casinos where a lot of kids go for their 18th birthdays. There are many more allegations. Hopefully he will lose his attempt to prevent the public from seeing over 300 computer files that he deems 'highly offensive'.

Local speculation ... from fairly reliable sources....is that there are other local republican officials who have been groomed by him over the years. Beginning as one of his interests, but going on to be protegees and obtaining local office. This story has only just begun.
