Everything I hear Chavez say proves hes is altruistic, compassionate, and truly of Man for the people.
His policies are truly beneficial to the people of Venezuela, and to the world. He cares about improving the lives of people, and to share his countrys vast resource of oil with the whole world!.
He has set up positive agreements with countries from the Caribbean, and the rest of South America, which offers tremendous energy relief; which should help those governments improve their state for decades to come.
On every front; land reform, education, medical, housing, agriculture.. he is doing tremendous, positive things for his people, the COMMON MAN of Venezuela.
His politics is NOT communism, it is a Socialistic Democracy, sort of like most of the Euro Countries.... But he does not treat Cubas Communism as some sort of scary boogeyman!
So, why does the US despise this man. We have always learned that a good leader should do positive things for his people, for the little people. and to keep his idealism above that of greed and corporate interests.(like Mr Smith goes to Waashington). Which is exactly what Chavez is doing!!!... So, why does the US hate him?...IMO, its basically because we're a lying evil fucking selfish people whose goal is totally self-centered, who wants all the worlds resources, and doesn't give a shit who we have to destroy to get it. We really don't care about anyone else in this world, especially non-white people. We pay pure lip service to them, while we connive and deceive them. There is no agreement ever made with the US unless they deviously get the upper hand....
I could go on and on.. but I'm getting angry!
