FIVE rules of Journalism: who, what, where, WHEN and why |
|
Looks like CNN is missing the WHEN rule of journalism.
I went researching this FAKE terror threat trying to piece together a time-line including things like Bush's speech, Bloomberg's appearance, the terror alert, the military raid in Iraq, etc... to put it all together.
NOT A SINGLE ARTICLE on their web site covers ANY TIME/DATE facts of ANY PERTINENT events related to the terror threats.
Now, I've just covered, WHO, WHAT, WHERE and WHEN. The BIG QUESTION is WHY? Normally, they do give an approximate time (like, late Thursday afternoon, early Thursday evening, etc)... but no such dice on these stories. Furthermore, other recent stories, like the earthquake DO have WHEN covered in the story...
My B.S. DETECTOR is GOING WAY OFF THE CHART on the OFFICIALLY REPORTED STORY (bad Iraqi informant, BAD!).
I'm using Google news to get the time-line I need now. Anyone else notice this?

1. You know Olberman is doing this on his show on Wed. this week? |
|
I don't know why or how CNN archives their stories so I can't answer your question. I'm suspecting most of your information will be on Keith's show though. Wait just one more day!
