if you are talking about becoming "disappeared" and death squads then I would say, yes, that is a bit paranoid and whacky... Bush does not have the political hold on this country to do something like that. But if you mean information and data "assassination" and manipulation, just to fuck with our records, our communication, etc. perhaps... but it would be kind of silly for them to do that, there is too many risks involved and I don't know what would be gained politically for him.
