Did the millennium event actually change the clock from 1999 to 1900?

I have the feeling that everything has been set back by 100 years.

1. life expectancy in 1900 was around age 42
but you do wonder sometimes if there's any hope of sustained progress or if any given golden age only lasts a few decades or so before the greed of the powerful kills it

5. But there was a glich in the algorithm
and it accidently flipped the calendar to the year 900, the midst of the dark ages.

6. Those were the good ol days when women couldn't vote...
no birth control pill, blacks were lynched, etc. On the other hand all drugs were legal then. You could mail order syringes with cocaine or morphine.
