Freepers Terrified By Proud Gay Teens
Edited on Tue Oct-11-05 03:33 PM by K8-EEE
The homos are coming, the homos are coming! Here's one of my fave paranoid delusional rants on this thread:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1500659/posts#comment?q=1

Homosexual Agenda Ping.

Homosexual clubs - aka "recruitment centers". They ought to allow military recruitment reps for H.S. seniors at high schools, not these. But they're not just for high school any more! If any parents reading this have children or grandchildren in public schools, you owe it to them to very carefully investigate what's being taught, as well as any extra-cirricular activites going on. Does your kids' school observe the "Day of Silence" put on by GLSEN? Or have Gay Straight Questioning Clubs? Gay Counsellors? Safe rooms? etc?

Freepmail me and DirtyHarryY2K if you want on/off this pinglist.

And if you think "opting out" is an option, it isn't. The homosexual promoters purposely use deceit and vagueness so it's almost impossible to opt out, and say your kid opts out and all the others don't. And homosexual teachers, counsellors and the like sneak in the "gay is good" teaching in regular school hours and classes. If you don't want your child to come home and say "Mom, I think I'm gay" then don't send him or her to public school.

===========================

Thank you Lord for giving me good, decent Liberal parents....I really feel sorry for these people's children, gay or straight.

3. No, I'm Sorry, You'll Have To Be Gay.
I'm sorry, but Opting Out Isn't An Option...WTF??? Talk about paranoid! It seems they are the ones who think that "opting out" of straight life isn't an option.

6. If you WERE gay, you COULD fly!
Gay people can also breathe fire and shoot laser beams out of their eyes.

Now to protect America we need to prevent all gay people from having abortions!

Well, back to the war!

/Bitter, tired, and more than just a bit of a headache. Christ, these people are deranged. Er, not you guys. The freepers who think this stupid shit.

2. This is ridiculous
"If you don't want your child to come home and say 'Mom, I think I'm gay' then don't send him or her to public school."

But if you DO want your kid to say "Mom, I think I'm gay and therefore everyone hates me, and God is punishing me, and I'm confused, and I'm scared, and I'm going to go commit suicide!" then by all means, send your child to a nice religious school that will adequately persecute them for being who they are!

7. Did Alan Keyes, Dick Cheney & Phyllis Schaefly
Give their kids too liberal of an upbringing and send them to too diverse of a school? DON'T THESE PEOPLE KNOW THAT GAY PEOPLE EXIST IN THIS WORLD? What a bunch of scared bunnies -- no wonder BushCo can manipulate them with fear, every time.

16. I'd be willing to bet that most of the Freepers
that are so scared of homosexuality are closet homosexuals themselves. We see evidence of this all the time (in the form of evanglicals being accused of sexual molestation, etc.).

Gay people have graced this earth since Man started walking, so get the fuck over it and learn to accept it!

20. Public SCHOOL?
Given the fact that I had an aunt who was gay, my husband had an uncle who was gay, and my daughter's two cousins are gay, it was NO SURPRISE to us when she said, "Mom and Dad, I AM gay." She was 21 at the time and we were surprised she didn't tell us SOONER. We already KNEW.

Public School to blame? No, I don't think so. Try GENES.

4. They should be paranoid.
Stupid old attitudes about sexual orientation are being buried, funeral by funeral.

In twenty years people will be lying about how they supported gay marriage all along.

11. So, they seem to think the only thing keeping them "straight"...
...is a lack of "gay temptation"?

Hmm...that's rather revealing, isn't it? Sounds like some honest self-reflection would do them some good -- they sound...conflicted.

If asked, I'm sure that any fundie nut job would ADAMANTLY assert that he/she has no interest in homosexuality and could never be "tempted" into that "lifestyle".

Well if so then what exactly is the problem with the lifestyle. If it doesn't have any power over you then WHY FIGHT IT TOOTH AND NAIL AS IF YOUR VERY SURVIVAL WERE AT STAKE? It's incongruous at best, cynical and hypocritical at worst.

well only for a nanosecond (voice drops three octaves)

I watched a big gay march in Edinburgh a couple of months ago. It was really funny; a hoot, in fact...a long procession came down The Mound...all us straight guys were looking at the women; the straight women were looking at the guys...pointlessly, longingly... And to cap it all there was a complete gay rugby team chanting "we're here, we're queer and we want some beer!" with Health Service vehicles in the procession...YEAH! The gay rugby team were guys you wouldn't hassle either...so much for the effeminate gay theory.

I don't think I heard a single anti-gay comment from the onlookers. It was bloody marvellous...march on gay people...make the closet homophobes drool...it really fucks with their tiny minds.

21. As a gay man, I've always thought that people who think like this rube...
have sexual inadequacy issues... that is, they either harbor same-sex attractions (and are in denial) or are actually afraid they could be "duped" into changing their orientation.

It's just plain ol' paranoia. Poor guy.

Or... he could know he is lying and using yet another excuse to attack public schools, which he opposes for other reasons.

22. So, somehow freepers "know" that these clubs are recruitment centers.
The fact that there is no evidence for this is explained away ("purposely use deceit and vagueness"). Hearing that it's good or okay to be gay will make straight students gay. And we should allow military recruiters, who openly and aggressively recruit, in the schools, but not those so-stealthy-you-can't-tell-but-really-scary-and-threatening-gays-and tolerant-straights, because they are secretly "recruiting."

Freeper reasoning, the oxymoron.

Aren't having that much luck these days, and they have the whole US government in back of them, yet there's supposedly these Gay Recruitment Centers where you can't "opt out," like the Gay Mafia or something?

Uh huh....wackos! God forbid homoseckshuls don't get beat up like God wanted.

29. As a public school teacher who has taught in quite a few
high schools, I am just shocked, shocked, I tell you....all of this was going on under my nose, and I missed it? What the hell is a safe room, anyway? Do teachers get to have safe rooms too? Is it kinda like being "on base"...na, na, na, you can't touch me, I'm on base?

Why did god create such ignorant, hateful people?

Well, evidently public schools are just dens of iniquity....and I missed all of that good iniquity, because I was too busy teaching math. Boy, I must be the stupid one.

30. Every time I hear freeper types rant about homo-seck-shuls
it reminds me of smokers trying to give up cigarettes or alcholics trying to stay sober. They bitch about the evils of smoking and drinking until you set a pack or cigarettes or a drink down in front of them. ... Then you see them start to twitch and shake and you know they are just dying for a smoke or a drink and trying hard to conceal the fact behind all their bluster and swagger.

33. Does anyone remember the sketch from Mr. Show called "Overcome"
"That's where they get you. Active recruitment on campus. I've renounced my homosinuality and now have Overcome" <cut to blowjob scene> "join us next week when David plans another relapse, and then after returning to the fold, we again follow him when he spends time in Rio. it will be a glorifying hour of witness." something like that...it's all out of order and misquoted but you get the picture.

That thread could very well be plagerizing that sketch, or perhaps this is another case of satire producing objectifying critiques, because it basically predicted the snip from the op word for word.
