Hey, lurking wingers: Always look on the bright side of life

http://feeds.dailykos.com/dailykos/index?m=1143

The heartsick Republican party sure could use a little cheering up. So, in the interest of reaching across the Great Divide, C&J provides...a little Monty Python:

Some things in life are bad. They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle, don't grumble---give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best. And...

Always look on the bright side of life...

("I'm disappointed, depressed and demoralized." --William Kristol)

Always look on the light side of life...

("Harriet Miers isn't qualified to play a Supreme Court justice on "The West Wing," let alone to be a real one." --Ann Coulter)

If life seems jolly rotten, there's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps, don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle---that's the thing.

And always look on the bright side of life...

("The Miers pick was another administration misstep... Momentum was lost. The quarterback looked foolish." --Peggy Noonan)

Always look on the light side of life...

("Miers needs to be stopped! The Republican Party should be the party of the moral high card. It can't be with such blatant cronyism. SABOTAGE MIERS! SABOTAGE MIERS! SABOTAGE MIERS!" --Angry Conservative)

For life is quite absurd, and death's the final word
You must always face the curtain with a bow.
Forget about your sin---give the audience a grin
Enjoy it, it's your last chance anyhow.

So always look on the bright side of death...

("I think... has probably risked his legacy. But more important, he has risked what some of us have fought for 40 years since I was with Richard Nixon." --Pat Buchanan)

1. Good one!
("I think... has probably risked his legacy. But more important, he has risked what some of us have fought for 40 years since I was with Richard Nixon." --Pat Buchanan)

We watched that, I got to see him say it myself, it was great!

About damned time too.
