I learned one important point guaranteed to keep me out of trouble: If someone didn't have a "need to know," I didn't tell them anything. What "need" does a journalist have for the identity of anyone in the CIA who isn't already in the public eye?

the White House Counsel, who apparently failed in their duty to be
knowledgeable about the law OR failed to inform staff members.

Said Counsel is now the nominee for the Supreme Court.

So, either we people who KNOWINGLY BROKE THE LAW or WE HAVE
