How do radio stations decide what to put on the air?
I received a letter today from Arbitron today.

Have you ever wondered,"How do radio stations decide what to put on the air?" or, "Who do they ask about radio listening? THEY'VE NEVER CALLED ME!" Well, if you're visiting this Web site, then chances are you've finally received the call—or will very soon. This is your chance to be heard!

For 50 years Arbitron has been a leader in reporting "the ratings." We find out what the public—young and old—listens to on the radio and what you have to say about those stations. Then we make sure that the people who make programming decisions hear you. Hearing what you have to say is more important to radio stations than ever before. Your input— and your opinions—really count.

6. I guess money talks.
I even heard it speculated recently that Rupert Murdoch might jump the conservative ship because Fox isn't the cash cow it used to be. He did the same in Britain, I guess, when he switched to supporting the Labor Party....

I still hate ClearChannel.

7. I hate them too. My only point was what you got. There is only 1 criteria.

3. First, they...
sell their souls to the devil.

Then, they drink the goat's blood.

Then, they play crap all night long.

Whatever side of the tub their fart bubbles appear during their morning cleansing, then they know.
