Bush IS Captain Queeg!

There's something similar in their eyes. Of course, one is a man playing a naval captain in a movie. The other is a man playing a president before the news cameras.

Bush is Captain Queeg!

3. I just realized...
both Queeg and Bush have glassy eyes. Given that the Bush picture looks to be taken at his ranch, I can't say that a lack of rest explains the glassiness.

5. Why are you insulting Captain Queeg?
The Captain still had his marbles, albeit in his hand.

Bush lost his marbles long ago.

6. He's "old Yellow Stain"!!
(The Caine Mutiny just happens to be one of my favorite movies)

Captain Queeg: Ahh, but the strawberries that's... that's where I had them. They laughed at me and made jokes but I proved beyond the shadow of a doubt and with... geometric logic... that a duplicate key to the wardroom icebox DID exist, and I'd have produced that key if they hadn't of pulled the Caine out of action. I, I, I know now they were only trying to protect some fellow officers...

11. Queeg was not the bad guy in the book/play/movie.
It was the Fred MacMurray character. Queeg was just a shell shocked paranoid who used to be a very good sailor. MacMurray was the chicken shit who did not support the mutiny.

MacMurray reminds me of the chicken shit Democrats who won't push for the impeachment of Bush.

I kid you not!

13. Except that the MacMurray character egged on the mutiny,
then left everybody high and dry - the crewmen and Queeg.

16. You're right. But maybe Bush is more like the Captain in Mister Roberts.

I have been thinking about these lines for about 5 years:

Doug Roberts: How did you get in the Navy? How did you get on our side? Oh you ignorant, arrogant, ambitious... keeping sixty-two men in prison 'cause you got a palm tree for the work they did. I don't know which I hate worse, you or that other malignant growth that stands outside the door.

18. The movie was like that, too. In the end, MacMurray is made out
to be the guy who put everyone up to the mutiny and then left them hanging. The Jose Ferrer character is great when he comes into the party and tells MacMurray he'll wait outside for him if he "wants to do anything about it." That is such a great scene!!

You are right...MacMurray is the chickenshit democrat.
