Looking at that picture..the man is bleeding. I have always been proud that Americans treat enemy soldiers medically as aggressively as their own...or so we are led to believe. This guy is lying on concrete.

But then I will say that pictures don't always tell the whole story. Now, standing attached to a car battery? What other story could there be?

have been in the "second wave" of pics. Guy after being bitten by dog. There's a series of pics with him being threatened etc. first.

14. Not sure... there's a pic of a clothed, kneeling guy being terrorized by a

German Shepherd, then there's a pic of I think this guy, nude, standing being terrorized by the dog before being bitten.

18. It's hard to tell what's happening with that resolution. If the pics are

from the same time as him getting bitten (i.e. minutes later) then there's no way gangrene would have happened in that time.

If the dressing is applied very tightly, with the bandage circumferentially around his leg, it might exert a tourniquet effect impairing circulation, and thus giving the leg a dusky appearance.
