I smelled this one coming when I heard the introduction with the mention of "Heritage Foundation".

This dude claims that all the problems in the city were either due to black men deserting their families or that Nagin and his administration was so corrupt and inept that they were to blame. I have yet to hear the words FEMA or any criticism of the boooosh regime.

This meme is so offensive and shame on C-CPAN on devoting time to such garbage.

Brian Lamb and his C-SPAN co-horts have long favored the Repugnican agenda...especially those of the AEI and Heritage Institutes. These "think tanks" (:puke:) were designed to create misinformation and are a speakers bureau of "experts" (political hacks) who fill up conferences, talk shows and other orchestrated events to create their own echo chamber.

I love it when he's asked how his organization is funded...and says by "private donations". I'm wondering how many of those checks have an Abramoff signature on them...

Seems like the issues lately have skewed to "shoring up" wingnut talking points. Be it, the Iraqi puppet earlier in the show spewing that black is white analysis or the selection of news articles that always seem to come from the Washington Times (this show cites them almost daily).

NOLA really has pulled the sheet off these racists. Even worse is how they can openly attempt to deny being one while using all the codewords that say the opposite. Or they find a toadie like Peterson who pretends to have grassroots support but is strictly an astroturfed Uncle Tom.

Most everyone I've run into, even those I call friends, were ready and willing to believe the RW talking points and the worst had happened--which actually didn't happen.
