And speaking of doomsday, I am not merely one of an entire population of paranoid gold bug lunatic armed-and-dangerous loudmouth crackpots, but I am The Mogambo, their king. As thus it has occurred to me, and a lot of people who are just as weird as I am (and sometimes more!), that this avian flu thing is just what the doctor ordered, from the standpoint of solving the Medicare and Social Security problem. I mean, what could be better than to kill all the old people who are causing the problem? Voila! Problems solved!

The Chinese are keeping the value of the dollar inflated so they can continue to sell us goods on the cheap. Boy, what Bush has done to our country...it makes me want to cry.

2. The only problem with this is

H5N1 bird flu isn’t the type of seasonal flu that kills the elderly every year. H5N1 bird flu will kill mostly healthy young people because humans have no immunity to it. If the worse case scenario occurs and there is a pandemic, most of the deaths will be people who are in the prime of life, working age, healthy etc...
