We need a Constitutional Amendment to ban Hurricanes
Edited on Wed Oct-12-05 10:53 AM by noahmijo
Seriously how can you people be so narrow minded as to not see this is the simple solution to all of our natural disaster problems.

You know what the scary thing is? * would probably sign it after 70% of the Republican Congress voted in favor of it.

1. Let's tack earthquakes on to that, okay?
that will get the California vote.

But the Halliburton lobbyists are gonna be PISSED because there won't be anything to rebuild!

2. As a Floridian, I fully support this amendment...
We should hand out stiff penalties to storms that flout this constitutional amendment and form into hurricanes anyway, as well.

3. We already did this
Don't you remember? It was added as an amendment to the
bill that repealed the Law of Gravity for NASA.

4. I disagree.
I think what we need is for Congress to authorize a war against certain Carribbean nations. Those terrorists in Bermuda and Jamaica are clearly sending WMDs over here to America. And then Halliburton can have the rebuilding contract after we kill all the brown skinned people there - all those beach front resorts will make Cheney and his cronies a lot of money!

5. I'll Vote For It!
We should include earthquakes and tornadoes too! Could we? Maybe we could just ban terrorist attacks and pandemics too, and then we've have NOTHING to worry about.

Cool!

6. Professor we need to come up with an amendment to stop lame guitar
solos, and also require that every rock song require a solo that utilizes at a minimum a string of 16th notes at 190 bpm :)
