You mean to tell me he didn't even look more closely than "down the hall" to find the most qualified person in the country to be a Supreme Court Justice?

3. I couldn't agree more...
this should be the proverbial last straw. Am I missing something? Are we to believe our clever Democratic brethren are laying back because the Miers appointment will cause * to self-destruct. Because I am so friggin' tired of our party "hanging back" for whatever reason.
