I just got an email from Wes Clark asking for money and I always give to him, but not this time. I am not donating anything to anybody until Fitzgerald indicts. If the indictments are not good and wide, then our democracy has failed and I can't think of any way to make it better.

to Nixon and it was like this back then, before the hearings, and we knew our entire democracy was on the line....I feel like that now and very worried if nothing goes through, if rove walks, cheney walks, delay walks, libby walks. It seems worse now than with nixon and that time was really, really bad.

If this doesn't work, we are close to the end, in my opinion. All branches of government plus the news which will be saying that the war is justified, that the bushites did nothing wrong, no spy was outed, there was yellow-cake, blah, blah, blah. This is huge and if it slips away, I don't see much else but a one-party country, perpetually in power. Can you imagine this country if rove is found innocent?
