DU PLEDGE DRIVE for Paul Hackett.
Edited on Wed Oct-12-05 05:22 PM by Dying Eagle
From the post below we discovered that Paul Hackett lurks among us (on DU). Lets show him some nationwide support for his Senate Campaign.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=104&topic_id=5043045&mesg_id=5043045

Everyone pledge how much you are willing to give Paul. We need him to run. I think he could have Obama-like national support.

I will start by Pledging Paul $20, I don't have a lot of money so 20 bucks is a lot from me. So how much will you give?

RUN PAUL, RUN!!!!!!!!!!

:bounce: :patriot: :applause: :headbang: :pals: :grouphug:   :dem:

11. Does Paul support the immediate withdraw of troops from Iraq?
Or does he support Hillary's call for a "better managed" war, with MORE US troops? I really don't know, and hope he supports an immediate withdrawl.

If he thinks we should stay in Iraq, then I think the best place for him is back there, maybe replacing someone who does not believe in the war. I think he could find thousands who would volunteer to trade places with him, and run a campaign based on getting troops out now!

AMY GOODMAN: So, you would return to fight a war that you think is unjust?

PAUL HACKETT: Well, I've not said it's unjust. I have said that it's been mismanaged by the administration.

That he didn't believe the Bush Administration would put for the effort to make an Iraqi campaign successful, so it's time to pull out.

And this really isn't the place to do this. It's a pledge thread. :hi:

17. I'll pledge to give something - I just don't know what yet.
I gave to him during his run before and got a nice thank you card for my meager efforts.

I'm a single Mom - about to be re-married - so we'll see what we can do.
