1. Shocking! Utterly shocking any contractor would abuse the system |
|
considering a high ranking official of DHS warned that anyone getting hurricane aid for which they not entitled faces a ten-year prison sentence and a $250,000 fine. Now if only the same standards were applied to contractors. But there I go dreaming.

Color me surprised.
Althought I am interested in the fact that this report is about TAX abuses (might want to change your head, w8liftinglady). This is above my head, since I'm lucky if I can understand my own taxes, but I'd be interested to know how they accomplish this fraud: incorporating in the Caymans so that they're not technically a U.S. corp? Posing as a faith-based organization? Funny numbers, a la Arthur Andersen?
