I wanted to write and tell you how much I appreciate the work that Keith Olbermann and his team are doing. Todays show about "The Nexus of Politics and Terror" was particularly impressive. It's so rare to see good investigative journalism, or reporters willing to dig deeper into stories such as these in the present day. Keith Olbermann is actually the only news program I watch anymore. The rest of the programs on CNN, MSNBC and Fox News are filled with cheap infotainment and sycophantic anchors who are unable or unwilling to hold politicians up to a truly critical look. I am surprised that even in this environment, when most Americans have turned on the GOP government and its culture of corruption, that TV journalists are still afraid to go after these people. I really wish there were more anchors like Keith on MSNBC. You had David Gregory hosting Hardball for about a week, and I watched that entire week too! Please consider getting some more real journalists to do your shows. I really want MSNBC to be a news channel that I can trust and regularly turn to for my news. Until you get more people like Keith though, I will just watch him and hope. :)

23. my letter to msnbc

I just wanted to send a note to say how much we enjoy Countdown with Keith O. Countdown is now our favorite show, it the only time of the day where the whole family gathers to watch TV. He is not only great for us adults but even all three of my children love him. They get involved in the stories because of the unique way Keith delivers. They ask question and are genuinely interested in current events,we owe Keith a lot for this. They have to have their little pile of paper to throw when Keith throws his, we love it! There is very little real news to be found, with Keith we have found the best show anywhere to get factual news plus be entertained at the same time.
