Concerning Fitzgerald's visit to a judge today
that was reported here on du. It was postulated he was going to ask for an extension of the Grand Jury. Maybe it was to release Judith Miller from the contempt charge. It was noted on t.v. that she had been released, and wouldn't Fitzgerald have to notify the judge that she had fulfilled her duty to testify?
I think this is the case and not that he is extending the Grand Jury for another period of time.

4. Here is the link to story of judge releasing her
http://www.editorandpublisher.com/eandp/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1001305282

Is that good or bad for *? I dont think anything is good for * these days. Releasing her means Fitz has from her want he wanted. He's done. Now on to Rove.

I'm thrilled that that might be the reason for the visit to the judge today rather than an extension of GJ (not to say that isn't still possible). Don't know if I can wait much longer without exploding....!

9. I was just going to post the same message
I think he met with the judge to release Ms. Miller. I can't wait to read the NYT article regarding her "entanglements." :D

3. An extension would have been very bad for Bush,
so this is just back to the status quo, which is bad enough.

6. My guess is he has enough to indict a buncha
people and has to interview Rove one more time to wrap it up. After indictments are handed up, arraignments, trial dates set, some of the perps will realize the jig is up and turn on the others to save their own skin. That's what Franklin did in the espionage case. He plead guilty and is talking now.

7. Nope, the perps will all start meeting together to discuss strategy
and to coordinate their lies. And no one will be able to stop them.

5. It is my understanding that an extention...
... may be requested because of new notes of Judith Miller's that was entered into evidence.
