Two articles (LINKS) that are worrying me about the indictments:
Fitz has withdrawn from original charge 'cause difficult to prove and maybe he can't prove the broader one?

And Are the Dems aware that nothing is going to happen and that's the reason for their request of the final report?

Things are just getting to close to the 11th hr. and I don't trust this admin for a second...

2. yeah that is just speculation, plus the other one: Dems don't know what is
happening in Fitz's head.

They don't know if he is going to follow through or not.

Even if he does give out indictments they want to make sure the public knows exactly what every Repub did and when they did it.

3. That article was full of GOOD NEWS
"Instead, based on the questions Fitzgerald is asking, the lawyers surmised that he is looking into a broad conspiracy charge against a group of administration officials or into charging one or more officials with easier-to-prove crimes such as disclosing classified material, making false statements or perjury."

Meanwhile, appearing on MSNBC's "Hardball," Mike Allen of The Washington Post said officials inside the White House are readying this legal defense: the Valerie Plame information came from the press to them, not the other way around. One problem: Some people at the State Department (including Colin Powell) may have testified that the White House specifically requested information about Plame.

Karl Rove, top White House deputy, will testify this week, for the fourth time. Fitzgerald may move quickly after that to produce indictments.

6. Ahhh, yes, the super secret newspapermen, operating under deep cover
and working for a three letter agency! Or better yet, the journos who wander through classified material control spaces and just happen to do a little reading out of everyone's inbox!

I love the flopsweat excuses though...it's amusing to see the bastards twisting in the wind!

11. Working for a six letter agency, and not American, more like it.
Judy has been all over the Mid-East in her career, and has been committed to the neocon agenda since before the term was invented. Isn't it obvious that she's an agent of influence?

It doesn't matter if Miller knew about Plame's identity as an undercover CIA officer before Judy talked to Scooter in June. It was still a violation of the Espionage Act for Libby to either confirm or deny that information to Judy. We'll have to wait and see exactly what was in the memo she just turned over to Fitzgerald, but I suspect it says Scooter confirmed that for Judy.

Whereever that information originally came from -- whether it was US intelligence files or a tip from another "friendly" intelligence agency -- it was illegal for guys with security clearances in the White House to repeat that to members of the press. Rove and the others involved in spreading word around Washington about Plame implicated themeselves in the crime of conspiracy.

Even after that information was first published, and became public record, it remained off-limits for confirmation until it was formally declassified. But, that was merely a violation of their non-disclosure agreements that should have resulted in the immediate suspension of their security clearances.

7. Just a Bush I/Iran-Contra Redux
where everyone lied to Congress or anyone else they testified before under oath and were then subsequently pardoned and/or exonerated by the SCOTUS and became a talk show host.

4. he's now using the Espionage Act
nail 'em however you can. Just like Gotti/RICO and Capone/Tax Evasion.

The GJ is going to be expanded because of the new evidence from the last testimonies. So don't worry, there, bucko.

Fitz is too good for these slime-covered snakes to slip through. They have met their match.
