The Pakistan disaster... I don't get it.
One minute we got rid of a brutal dictator, the next minute we're helping out relief for another brutal dictator...

Double standards, anyone?

2. Saddam didn't have nuclear weapons and Pakistan has them.
:( India and China have them too.

BTW, whatever happened to Benazir Bhutto, the former leader of Pakistan?

4. Pakistan and India have nukes.
I suppose they'll have to work on diplomacy and not bombing each other.
:scared:

5. And, I thought we were helping out the millions of people affected by..
the earthquake?

I agree that we should not be in bed with the Pakistani government. But at times like these, we should see what Pakistan's deadliest enemies (e.g. India) are doing, and do the same.

7. What get me is
They got aid there quicker than they did to the victims of Katrina. Now by the logic they used in Katrina it's Pakistan's fault for no being prepared and we shouldn't help them. Musharraf is a terrible person and we have no business helping him when our Gulf Coast is wrecked.

8. It's not relief for the dictator.... It's for the PEOPLE!
Just like the people in New Orleans didn't choose Bush as their dictator, I don't think the Pakistani, Afghani, and Indians were given a choice as to who's in power. These are some of the poorest people in the world.

To make matters worse, many of the people affected by the earthquake live in the Himalayan mountains.... Try being homeless in the midst of a snow storm!
