"And so I want to thank you for being a part of this global war."

TRANSCRIPT courtesy of the Washington Post:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/10/13/AR2005101300754.html?nav=rss_nation/special

BUSH: And the philosophy is so opposite of ours. It is the exact opposite of what America stands for. We stand for religious freedom and freedom to speak and womens' rights and capacity for people to realize their dreams.

They stand for a vision that doesn't believe in freedom; that if you don't agree with their narrow point of view that you're subject to reprisal.

And so I want to thank you for being a part of this global war.

And Iraq is a part of the war because the enemy understands that a free Iraq will be a blow to their vision and their strategy of spreading dominance throughout the broader Middle East.

1. 1.Religious freedom, 2.freedom to speak, 3.women's rights
1. As long as it's one of the approved religions we tell you

2. As long as you don't criticize me (oh, and *, it's "freedom OF SPEECH"!! Freedom to speak means to be able to open your mouth and coherent sounds come out - maybe you should work on that one yourself . . .)

3. Well, some of them . . .

2. I Wish I Were There
They'd have me tied against a stake prepared to execute me after the conference. I have no respect for this man, even me being a man in uniform.

He's such a shit face.

3. This stupid damn f**kwit and his canned photo ops. What a despicable
creature.

No matter how you look at it, neither evolution or intelligent design were functioning on the day that moran was conceived.

4. Rehearsal inadvertently broadcast. Ha ha ha

Just heard on NPR that a video feed showed the soldiers rehearsing answers with a stand in for b*sh.

5. So Bush is talking about his narrow view to the troops?
I guess that makes sense. Oh, no? He's talking about someone else? Well, takes one to know one I guess. Did y'all read the transcript? I didn't see it played out so maybe it was different on video, but it seemed like a handpicked group with hand-picked questions and hand-picked answers (by Capt. Kennedy) to bolster the pResident's warped sense of what is really happening there.

Ugh. I can't even READ what he says without feeling sick to my stomach.
