red area amarillo texas, and my liberal morning. cheers to all
driving up the street a huge ass cadillac type vehicle. an older couple in the car. normally you would see a bush sticker on this car, but no....... three, count em, three kerry stickers. oh huge smile as i pass and thumbs up. i then pull in front of them with my 8 liberal stickers on the back of my car. we proceeded side by side for a couple miles, for all behind to see the liberal in our area. almost felt blue for a moment

went into red home depot with chip on my shoulder and ran into an old customer of mine from a decade ago. chatting with her about our kids and their education, not being able to find a private crhristian school that wasnt teaching horrible stuff to our childen that was so not christian. (we both had them in a school and had to pull them out) she states she is a catholic and i laugh. then we start talking about bush. she told me bush stole it. they have done it all. they did 9/11, they are probably gonna bring the bird flu over. she dragged me through the store to meet her husband. he went to a kerry rally in colorado springs. he has been on democratic underground. he told me another site to go check out.

went to grocery store and the nurse and pharmacy women were there giving flu shots. i ask them, are you afraid of the bird flu? they both said no. i asked, are you all gearing up to handle this crisis cause i am telling you our president went in front of the camera to tell us he will quarentine regions and bring in military to have martial law. and i just want to make sure that our medical team is in place to handle this horror that is on its way to take us all down. oh i am laughing and in such glee by now. the woman says, we need to just kick that man out of office. he is horrible. and the people around here like him. i dont get it.

i.... had an excelllent day. today is my bday. was like universe giving me a really special bday present.

I love it when I have days like that, too. How nice that you got one of them on what was already a day of celebration for you.

Over Clear Channel yet - and in a realm that is usually open mostly to Presidential apologists and right-leaning libertarians - people openly discussing what a horrible President old Smirkboy is.

I actually think we may be out of the woods, my friends.

Yet one more thing to add to your belated Happy Birthday.

14. WHOAH...hold on...
are you SURE it was in AMARILLO TX?? Amarillo is like the HUGEST *-hugging, Chimp-worshipping RW town I can think of! The MIL lives out there and boy, is she EVER pro-*. Everyone I've talkd to out there is pro *. It's the NASCAR-loving Republican capital of * USA as far as I'm concerned. But maybe...just maybe...some people are beginning to WAKE UP to the FRAUD and ASSHOLE that is George W. *.

Thanks for this story, great news. Maybe there IS hope after all.
