Do you use the "Bookmark This Thread" feature to track certain threads?
I've been at DU for awhile and just starting using that feature.

Makes it so easy to check on particular threads that I want to continue to read.

5. Yes and one of these days
I am going to have to spend several hours going through all the threads I have just left there for various reasons. I wish there was a way to categorize them because some I may have kept for a certain response and some I bookmarked to keep track of and never deleted them. Whew, that will be a job after all this time.

17. LOL
me too. I wish there were a way to categorize them a little better because I've got a number I bookmarked for future reference and which I have used. Lots of great information in my bookmark file.

I'm looking forward to a Democratic presidency so I won't have to try to keep up on all the latest GOP scandals and will have time to leisurely go through my bookmarks.

Oh, just realized it was you Muse. :hi:

18. Ha Ha!
:hi: Mabus!

I have vowed that even with a Democrat in office I will never again let down my guard. Not because I won't trust them more but because I have finally been shaken from my stupor, remembered Nixon and all my worry over Reagan and realized that it is always important, those people are still causing trouble. BUT it will be so much easier to be able to relax a little and not worry every single day (or ever single hour) about all the bad things happening. :)

7. you can also find "lost" threads at google
just type in a hint and democratic underground and your name or whoever's name.. Lots of oldies pop up that way..

Search here has been limited a lot, and I use that..

you can also click on author in any forum, and can look alphabetically by name to find recent lost threads..

the archive version of that is not available just now

12. No, I prefer the more serendipitous approach. Whatever's there.
But sometimes I do wonder what happened to a thread, just not enough to go look for it.

I consider threads conversations, and by definition, the ones being conversed most actively are up at the top. I enjoy most the topics about today's news.

14. Sometimes, if I know I'm going to be away from the computer for awhile
but I want to know how a particular thread developed while I was away, I'll bookmark it.

am less busy. Inevitably - I go back a month later and am not interested anymore. Sometimes I'll even read a story written by a freeper - if I think it may tell me something - about them. Then I see the bookmark & I cringe.
