AP: Bush propaganda skit with troops TOTALLY SCRIPTED
It was billed as a conversation with U.S. troops, but the questions President Bush asked on a teleconference call Thursday were choreographed to match his goals for the war in Iraq and Saturday's vote on a new Iraqi constitution...

Paul Rieckhoff, director of the New York-based Operation Truth, an advocacy group for U.S. veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan, denounced the event as a "carefully scripted publicity stunt." Five of the 10 U.S. troops involved were officers, he said.

"If he wants the real opinions of the troops, he can't do it in a nationally televised teleconference," Rieckhoff said. "He needs to be talking to the boots on the ground and that's not a bunch of captains."...

1. NPR played a tape of the Pentagone advance-girl.

A totally condescending Pentagon vp for internal communications was mic-ed up and ran-through the questions with ten troops and an Iraqi noncom.

"Could you move those two water jugs out of the background? Just remember the three things. ...You all are doing a great job... When he asks about the election, you hold the microphone Captain."

Then they played audio of the actual interview with the crazy monkey. What a moron. He could barely read what was written in front of him, the questions sounded identical to what the Pentagon woman asked.

I was so happy to hear this on NPR, I almost wanted to give them money again.

Thanks, Bluebear! Glad to read the GE's own newstoads are on the job, finally.

Now that they're on to "Bush is a Liar," next comes "Bush is a Crook." Who knows? Maybe one day they'll actually get out the Big Story: "Bush is a Traitor."
