Don't sing the praises of the press too soon...
We'll know if the worm has turned if they start interviewing Dems about the stuff that's been swept under the rug this whole time...if they backtrack to cover the stuff they ignored the first time around... If they put Conyers on, or Howard Dean, or Barbara Boxer, or Nancy Pelosi...the Dems who aren't afraid to speak out.

Otherwise it's just going to be business as usual.

2. I agree, and will add that when members of the media do
step up to the plate, we should acknowledge them. Also let the outlets know we're watching and that we know the difference between news and propaganda or spin.

We shouldn't really have to thank good journalists to such a degree just for doing their job, not in a "Democracy". But BushCo works so hard to destroy them that I think it's important to support them where we can.

3. Agreed. I think we are so used to the media being a
propaganda arm of the WH that when they actually do their freakin jobs we get all giddy. Mind you there are a few who still have their integrity, Olberman and Hearsh come to mind.
Business as usual is gone though, we have made huge steps in the past few months, as long as the pressure keeps up, the house of cards is coming down.

same sentence Ill be convinced. Disrespect is a habit they have picked up. The media types like tweety and others cant change their habit of smirking when they bring a Democrats name into the subject at hand. They just cant bring themselves to respecting the Democrats no matter how successful weve been and how many failures the other side has brought with them. Its a bad habit and we need to bang them on EVERY instance of this. Dont allow even ONE to go by unanswered.

5. And when this
nightmare is all over after the criminals that have taken control of our treasury and our miltary are removed from power, we must also hold media personalities who aided and abetted the crimes of this illegal government accountable.

This means those who have participated in the coverup of election fraud as well as those who beat the drums for an illegal and immoral invasion of a nation who was of no threat to us.

6. When they spend as much time on this as Aruba

then I'll give them a C- grade.

That time has not come yet.

They are still trying to position themselves. Praying thatg Rove will once again pull the genie out of the bottle.

7. You are precisely correct. Don't trust them until they earn the trust.
We have every reason to distrust them because their owners are partners with the White House. Their directions come down from above.

9. Some of you guys are so negative.
And some of these people that are doing the best job on this never spent time on "Aruba" in the FIRST place.

Don't throw them all into one basket and condemn them. You wouldn't like it if it was done to a group you belonged to.
