Coming up October 19th in time to be a big distraction for when Fitzgerald drop indictments:

Saddam's trial will be televised.

2. I don't think...
that even Sadaam's 'trial' will distract from Indictment Day.

Think about it: the two events are related. At the heart of the Fitzgerald investigation is the question of whether the Administration acting illegally against those who debunked their so-called case for the Iraq war. And the White House Iraq Group is now a huge focus of the investigation.

So Sadaam's trial and Indictment Day are very much related!!!

Somedamn Insane is not interesting to most Americans, and them watching some rinky-dink trial is not in the cards. Now if he was fucking Natalie Holloway ....

5. Judge Roy Bean presiding: "a good, fair trial, then we're gonna hang him."
Roland Friesler will be the prosecutor, and he'll be tried on charges that have nothing to do with the United States so there won't be any annoying disclosures and he can be executed as promptly as possible. Let's call him dead by Valentine's Day.

Sixteen men on a dead man's chest; yo ho ho and a bottle of rum.

6. Let us hope all those fighting Sunnis are asked by their wives, kids,
families, neighbours - "did Saddam really do that - how awful - let's sign up to be good people of Iraq".

I can always hope.
