Just curious, how many of you think Jeb is going to run?
It seemed that * was grooming him for it. Then I heard that Jeb said that he had no plans of running. Not being big on trusting much that comes out of the mouth of this family--I'm not buying it.

So anyone else? Think Jeb may run? If so, think he's got a shot at winning?

:hi:

4. Bush fatigue is a real thing right now, nevermind in 3 years.
Slobberin' Jeb is more or less as incompetent as his monstrous brother Dubya and might not be able to persaude New England Republicans, for instance, to throw their money and votes at him.

I thnk McCain would eat him alive in a debate, too.

43. True - OTOH, Jeb's really good at doin' the Jeezus Bellow
He doesn't have much more than that, but it's enough to get the fundies in a later, and they seem to pretty much run the GOP these days, so who knows?

11. Well we are--
but were these facts in evidence when they made Jeb Governor? (forgive my ignorance, I'm not up to date on what was going on when Jeb has run in the past).

I feel badly for Florida that they didn't have some other options.

9. MY big fear? Notice how the spotlight is never on the lesser Babs?
Jenna's the one that's always getting the bad publicity. Babs Jr.? Never a peep about her.

I have this suspicion that they're shielding her and grooming her for future prominence.

10. wayne huizenga is having a republican fund raiser in which people are
supposed to donate $100,000.00 a piece (so i have heard) and i have also heard that republicans, around here in florida, anyhow, want jeb bush to run for president in '08. (now didn't we hear babs say that Hillary wasn't going to win? they must already be programming the diebold machines to make up fake votes for jeb).

His brother has fucked up any chance he might have had at the White House, unless he's still alive in eighty years when his party has their next shot at the Presidency. I bet he won't even visit Georgie in prison.

44. Jebby, the smart one, was supposed to go first, BUT
Just as the run-up to election would have started, his wife was caught smuggling stuff into the US (from France), and i think that's about the time that Noelle's train came off the tracks for the first time too....so they skipped over to Georgie..

Jebbie lost the 94 election for Governor, or HE would have challenged Clinton in 96....That was part of the reason for the "94 congressional takeover and for the relentless attacks on Clinton.. The Bushes wanted to weaken him so that Jebbie could become president in 96, but he was a big ole loser in 94 governor's election, so they looked towards *².. He was obviously too dumb to run in 96, against Clinton (Jebbie's the smart one), so they just groomed him and let him play nintendo in the governor's mansion until Clinton's 2nd term ran out..

Nope, we don't like Kings or Royal families either.
