Two thirds of the top fold of the Boston Globe is a HUGE picture of you know who and the troops in Iraq in their STAGED photo-op. The entire world knew by 8:00pm last night just how fake the entire thing was. I guess the Boston Globe neither watches TV news nor goes on line because, under the photograph, they describe Bush having a photo op with the troops, thanking them for their service. Story on A-14. In the story, a teeny small paragraph that said Scott McClellan "declined to address directly whether the soldiers had been coached."
I will be writing the Globe this morning and I will probably tell them that they have lost all credibility with me and I will probably cancel my subscription. Old news isn't worth 50 cents anymore.
