LOL, Brian Lamb is begging for "support the President" callers today.
Said it's weak and did a little pitch for people to call in. Topic is something to do with a comment by Andrew Card and something about illegal aliens.

3. Hope so.
The lady now was support * but is really slicing and dicing *'s dealing with the war and the troops. Brian just chewed people out and told them they are not to call in and say they "used" to support * after she told him that if he ran again she would not vote for him. I hope some caller jumps Lamb on this attitude.

8. Topic: excerpts from an Andy Card interview to be broadcast on Sun. night.
Older man is taking Brian to task on his begging for GOP/* callers and is mentioning that 60% of Americnas don't support * but that GOP callers get more than 50% of CSPAn airtime.

The Card interview excerpt comments are the topic of discussion. Card is praising *. :puke:

17. Hey there, I guess we've decided to take a sabbatical
just when you decide not to publish a schedule, people tune in in droves. I'll be here every morning at 7 though watching even though I'm not posting the schedule.

4. That last caller, though a supposed supporter, sure
handed * and Brian his hat as far as the vets, injured, lack of armor, etc. Maybe a disenchanted supporter? Those numbers are also growing!

6. Lamb keeps trying to skew the calls to be even
when the calls don't reflect that divide now. Caller now taking Brian to task on that. He's not pleased.

7. Good to hear someone taking him to task on that.
Keeping something 50/50, fair and balanced, etc. isn't always what needs to be done, esp. when only 1/3 of America gives * a positive approval.

5. did you just hear him say the line in support of the president
is for people who still support him. Not for people who used to supposrt him but not any longer. It's almost comical poor brian pleading for people who support the president.

It's gone folks.. the reign of GW Bush is over.

18. What I'm hearing a lot of lately...
...is people saying, "I support the president, but..." and then they go on to rip him a new opening in his nether regions. It's like they don't feel they're patriotic unless they say they support him.

19. Brian Lamb is pro Bush. He complains now about a "civil" tone yet
he has Ann Coulter on the show. Coulter's sole purpose is to keep the Democrats and Republicans fighting. She adds nothing to public discourse. People should just ignore her.

21. He is also pulling the "we have both sides on" scam....
First up is an hour of shameless propaganda from Andy Card about what a great guy Bush is. He even used the example of him being on time for meetings.
?!??!?!?!?
Are they so desperate that Bush's promptness at meetings is considered evidence of strong leadership.
And speaking of being on time, what about those four days in N.O., when people were dying in the streets and begging for help?
Then Lamb puts on John Derbyshire, who, some may remember, is famous for writing a column a few years back, advocating the execution of Chelsea Clinton since she is a spawn of Bill and Hilary.
Unless the guy from the Washingtonian is the most vocal, passionate, fire-breathing radical progressive ever, there is no "balance" on Lamb's Fascist Friday program today.

25. They're replaying the 1st 15min now--Brian sternly reminding the audience
that the President's favorite words, according to Andy Card, are Democracy and Freedom.

now let the calls begin.
