Now I'd say this is one of the most absurd spins on this story I've heard, but I suspect the best is yet to come. This Hail Mary not only didn't make the end zone, it was last sighted approaching Uranus.

The wingnuts are desperate to find something/anything about Plame, and Joe Wilson, in specific that would discredit them as some sort of nullification of the crimes committed by their traitors. I'm sure Joe's rectum was checked thrice and the rat bastards couldn't come up with any good dirt to make the slime stick, so now they have to make up some kind of defense.

Maybe we should start a sticky post or someone can keep track of all the excuses and spins the Repugnicans have about Wilson/Plame, the WHIG and Fitzgerald's investigation.
