Question about Grand Jurys'.....
Is it like the standard courtoom set up with 12 people sitting on 2 benches and the prosecutor having the witness on the stand....asking questions? or is it something different?

1. It's something different
I was on a grand jury many years ago and I believe there were 23 jurors. We all sat at tables while the prosecutor presented his or her case. We did not have to judge guilt or innocence - only whether the prosecutor had enough evidence to go to trial. We could call any witness we wanted to, but their attorney was not allowed in the room. They could consult ouside. It's much like a conference room with it's own drinking fountain and restroom since you're locked in.
