After all, they used to be the middle class, so there will be plenty of them. Tax the hell out of them so the convienences for the rich will not go neglected.

The new feudal lords will be the CEOs, BODs & shareholders of American corporations. The rest of us will be lowly serfs. The corporations & feudal lords will survive, for awhile at least, on the new markets in India & China.
I don't know enough about economics, but perhaps someone can come up with a scenario where American corporations take a fatal fall due to the greed based decisions they are making now. Of course, that wouldn't be good for any of us, but it's gonna be bad for us long before that anyway.
Holy crap, I used to be an optimist. The last 5 years have changed that.
