7. Haha...well of course, but I think the irony index is falling ever so
slightly as of late. ;-)

I wonder if the gop put MSNBC up to the poll. Just something else backfiring on them.

21. Exactly!
There could have been no other purpose behind that loaded question other than to imply a "media conspiracy against the Presidency". But that shit no longer works! ... And the more they try it the LESS it works! ... It backfires in their own snouts! A "tipping point" has been reached!

Funny though, how so much of this "liberal media" meme comes from the so-called "liberal media"!!!

8. the MSM are making a lot of the scripted conference
and it does seem to be taken as a negative thing by the public. I guess those of us who've seen the scripting for so long don't appreciate how people could be just now (?!?) understanding how this is done. Now the media is deciding to tell them--what's behind this ploy?

10. Yes! The real stories were ignored by MSM.
Why would anyone ESPECIALLY the MSM be surprised that BushCoInc scripted anything?

No coverage yesterday about the new National Clandestine Service, or what the hell it means.

By David Morgan
Reuters
Thursday, October 13, 2005; 6:25 PM

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. intelligence chief John Negroponte on Thursday put the CIA in charge of all traditional U.S. spying operations overseas, including those of the FBI and the Pentagon, in a move seen to restore some of the beleaguered agency's stature.

The CIA will lead a new National Clandestine Service, or NCS, which will be headed by undercover intelligence officer who has led the CIA's Directorate of Operations up to now.

<snip>
The NCS incorporates the CIA's Directorate of Operations, which runs the agency's existing clandestine, covert and paramilitary operations around the world.

But the NCS also is intended to be a national authority for the integration and coordination of human intelligence operations by the CIA, the FBI, the Defense Intelligence Agency and the intelligence units of individual military services.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/20...

So the CIA, the FBI, and the NIA will all be coordinated through the NCS, the director of which is "undercover."

I think we are FUBAR.

30. Finally, a poll that isn't biased FOR the administration.
Regardless of the result, it is calling the conference scripted. I guess it would be hard to admit otherwise.

it's just plain wrong and should be reported as such. This weasel should be exposed for what he is: a fraud.
