Dear RWers - Forget Clinton. The REAL Comparison To * Is NIXON

That's right. Y'all luv to compare *'s woes to Clinton's RW-imagined-and-produced scandals, but the real comparison to the scandals of a past president are to Nixon. Take a look at the history books.

Is there any chance the Dems could get this out there as a talking point?

Sing it loud from every pulpit. COMPARE GEORGE BUSH TO BILL CLINTON. Please do it 24/7.

Nixon was a man of great honor and integrity compared to barbara's little monster of a human being son.

3. Yup, Floodgate is Bush's Watergate. Need a term to lump all the scandals

We need a term to lump all the scandals together.

There needs to be a proper investigation of the Katrina tragedy and the root causes and cronyism and strangling of government functions. Floodgate has been proposed as a term for it, since it is more apropos, more resonant, and less contrived than Katrinagate.

However, there are so many Bush regime scandals that we need a term / frame / meme to lump them together. Floodgate is as much Republican as it is Bush. We have Plamegate, AbuGhraibgate, votegate, etc. Last year I compiled a list of about 25 Bush scandals, or was 40? It has grown since then.

"Worst President ever" is a good meme, but it is not a convenient label for the scandal package. Kleptocracy and Ferengi Administration are descriptive and artful, but not evocative of scandal.

So what term to lump all the scandals together for convenient reference?
