Can anyone give me a hint? A Clue? Was it Miss Scarlet in the library? How did it go? What do you think? What hot topics are there right now on the subject? Any links? Best threads? Thanks for the hook up.

1. Rove entered the court.
Prior to testifying he went to the bathroom.
After testigying he went to the bathroom.
He left the court building.

It's 4 PM and so far there is no afternoon breaking story.

Prosecutor to Rove: no decisions yet on charges

1 hour, 1 minute ago

Federal prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald on Friday told President George W. Bush's top political adviser, Karl Rove, that he has yet to decide whether he will bring charges over the leak of a covert CIA operative's identity, Rove's lawyer said.

"The special counsel has not advised Mr. Rove that he is a target of the investigation and affirmed that he has made no decision concerning charges," Rove's lawyer, Robert Luskin, said. "The special counsel has indicated that he does not anticipate the need for Mr. Rove's further cooperation."

12. Only the prosecutor
The witness has no lawyer. There can be no objections. There is no cross-examination, no defense. The witness and the jury and the prosecutor and the judge, and that's it.

Usually things go quickly because of this, as there are no interruptions or sidebars, nor does a defense attorney get to ask questions. Three hours is a million years under these circumstances.

What's average? What's typical? How long can they be extended?

17. That I am not sure of
I do know that discretion on an extension request is in the hands of Hastert.

18. Really, well since I think an extension would benefit the case and
NOT benefit the criminals...my guess is Hastert won't extend it. Would you agree?

19. Depends
Bush himself praised Fitz as being responsible and dignified. If Fitz puts the bricks to Rove and Libby, and does so with the same kind of integrity he has displayed thus far, Hastert may have no choice but to grant an extension if one is requested. Otherwise, he will be looking at another Saturday Night Massacre-type of backlash.

10. he testified for about 4 hours which MSM is saying is very important
the GJ put off going to lunch and sat through 4 hours of roves testimony till just a little after one. It appears that then the GJ called it a day.

Thats all that was reported on MSM that I've heard about it.

15. Last seen headed South on I-95 in a white Bronco. Libby is with him
and they are holding Helen Miers as a hostage. It is not known whether she has been coerced into performing any lewd acts on either of the two men. We can only hope.
