Bush is the best (Republican) President ever
Edited on Fri Oct-14-05 05:26 PM by ck4829
You want to know why they worship Bush?

He's the BEST they've ever had.

This scandal-ridden Administration is the BEST that's ever been offered. (To the RW'ers)

Reagan's Administration brought us Iran-Contra and James Watt

Gerald Ford would most likely be called a Liberal by today's RW'er

And you all know they consider Nixon to be immoral

To them he is the best Socially Conservative Republican they have.

Think about it...

And laugh.

2. Well, they do have to go back a ways
Ike was TONS better. TR was a man to love. And Abe, well, no commentary needed (although he did let his men bleed on the field during the Republican Convention of 1864 at the battle of Cold Harbor before acknowledgment of loss of that battle).

Teddy, he's my favorite, but he would never get elected in the current Republican Party. Way too much foresight.

3. Teddy
considered himself a "Progressive" and, in many ways, he was...he's the one who started the National Parks and launched the anti-trust movement. Teddy despised the kinds of people who are running things today.

I want to get some of those drugs they're ingesting or smoking. You need that to even get the crazy idea in your head that Bush is the best Republican president ever. Nixon immoral? Compared to GW, Nixon looks straighter than a corkscrew. To the neocon nitwits, Teddy Roosevelt would be considered too much of a tree hugging liberal.
