Noticed a drop in RW message board posts?
IN the non-political message boards where I hang out, they had been posting pro-war, pro-bush, anti-Democrat stuff daily for the past five years. For the first time, I haven't seen any posts from them in a week.

Anybody else seeing this?

1. Yep. They've come out of the closet, and they're all over the place now.

3. On the contrary. There's more trolls HERE, but on neutral boards where
some of these guys used to be REALLY vocal they are mostly quiet as churchmice now, from what I've seen.

19. LOL's there was one here today with Flag Flying and a name that was a
real "tip off." It was amazing that he/she got engaged in a discussion. The post wasn't so OTT that I would have hit alert...but I imagine "it's" still here.

Lots of them. Maybe they will come here and learn. But, we always say that and eventuall they end up with a "stone" because they can't give up their old ways. :D.. still one always hope that a revolution in their way of thinking will come like a lightening bolt down on their heads..

The Road to Damascus....or something

11. I visit one RW site
Edited on Fri Oct-14-05 09:36 PM by OldLeftieLawyer
It's part of a site that's connected to the one from my home town, and, boy, you cannot believe the silence there these past couple of weeks.

What's really great is reading the posts from women who identify themselves as fifty- and sixty-something grandmothers who are so fed up with Fuckface, they're using language like mine.

It's quite lovely.

10. They are having an identity crisis - Culture of corruption, etc.
They can't defend their own anymore and they can't even defend W's position on Harriet. They can't talk about the Iraq war, the economy, or family values.

The only life they show is when one or both of the Clintons are brought up. Then they really run with it.

13. Yep!
One poster at one of the other boards I frequent usually posts the most assinine things several times daily...for example when Harriet Miers was first nominated he said "She has a fine legal mind and will make an excellent justice- trust me on this." Well, the guy hasn't posted so much as a howdy-do for days....I just LOVE it!

14. I've noticed a few things....
less W stickers suddenly.

less right wingers on Yahoo message boards

and the republican themed Meetups are being trounced by things such as Pagan Parents or Yorkies in Seattle.

Not a great time to be a repub.

my daughter tells me that suddenly the Democrats club is the hot ticket at school.. standing room only at a notoriously conservative, christian, affluent, school.

18. We've still got our Kerry/Edwards Yard sign up
We've had a lot of fun with it. We just tell our neighbors we're making a statement. We've gotten no flack.
