Karl Rove won't be indicted? WTF? Charlie Rose speaking to |
|
Edited on Sat Oct-15-05 12:01 AM by Blue_Roses
George Clooney tonight and both said--at the same time--what is going on? Clooney said, he heard today that Karl Rove probably won't be indicted and Rose said, "where did you hear this" and Clooney said, with his head cocked to one side and a sneer--Rove's lawyer:rofl:
Okay, at first I thought :wtf: --there is no way anyone can know--especially an actor (who I think is awesome) what the hell will happen.
Clooney did a great job on Charlie Rose and made a great point of why he could never be in politics--he can never compromise his views for a "decision" whatever that may be. Sadly, that's just the type of politicians we need--those who WON'T compromise their views.
Anybody see this tonight? I was impressed with Clooney and not just because he's soft on the eyes :loveya: The man has substance and I look forward to seeing his movie, "Good Night and Good Luck."

??????????
Ok I will ask several questions.
1.- Why would Karl's lawyer call a libby like Clooney?
2.- Why woudl they put this story out on Charlie Rose?
THINK.
It may very well be disinfo, not by clooney but by the lawyer... I'll hold off until the official statement comes out

5. I saw it. Of course it was a joke. Clooney said that Rover was not |
|
going to be indicted very casually.
Maybe that was a joke too!

3. I think George was just kidding |
|
You know, making a joke about it. Clooney had to be kidding. You know, wink & nod, Karl's lawyer. Didn't actually see it but I find it unbelievable Clooney would say something like that in a serious manner.

7. Yep, I just finished watching his segment..... |
|
Clooney also got in several digs on O'Reilly. I've been impressed with Clooney because he is not afraid to speak out. He does it intelligently and often with humor.
I'd consider him well informed and well connected and he seems to have great people skills. The interview was best when Rose didn't interrupt answers.
I was convinced to see the movie the first time I saw the trailer, and after this interview, I can hardly wait.

he is well-informed and intelligent. I used to like him only because he was so soft on the eyes, but now --I'm just in awe.
I especially like the digs he made at O'Reilly.

10. He may not be. He may not. We do not know until we get the facts. |

We are not witness to anything. We need the reports filed in the courts and then we will know.

17. yeah, he's been hanging around Tom Friedman too much |

I sometimes picture Charlie nursing bottles of bourbon at 3am in that black limbo set, talking to an empty chair and doing those faux-meaningful sighs.
"So... Adam Sandler... then your life was changed forever when you... what?"
(penetrating drunken glance)

After seeing him interviewed a few times lately, I decided that he's the one man I would have children with.....:) His personality and quick wit ~ not to mention convictions (not the Delay/Rove kind either.... ), make him soooooo attractive.
*sighs*
