Does Hemp absorb methane?
I know that it is very effective at absorbing CO2, but how does it fare with methane? If it is not effective at it, what plant is? I tried to google, but so far my search has been fruitless. TIA

1. I think anerobic bacteria are the only thing that 'eat' methane

And most of them died when the atmosphere's oxygen content rose billions of years ago.

If the composition of the atmosphere becomes high enough in methane again, they might come back, but then we'll be dead in any case.

2. Haven't they been discovered alive and well around the
sulpher vents on the bottom of the ocean?

3. Sure -- they're still around here and there
But only in oxygen depleted environments.
