Was Judy Miller fired?
or is she going to spend more time with her "family"?

RAW STORY has confirmed that New York Times reporter Judith Miller, who spent 85 days in jail protecting her source in the recent CIA leak investigation, will take an indefinite leave of absence effective immediately.

"Judy is going to take some time off until we decide what she is doing next," said Catherine Matthis, the Times' spokesperson.

5. Not fired according to the NYT article just out
She said she thought she would write a book about her experiences in the leak case, although she added that she did not yet have a book deal. She also plans on taking some time off but says she hopes to return to the newsroom.

9. Good. After the bullsh* she spewed all over the NYT she deserves
to be canned.

"Judy is going to take some time off until we decide what she is doing next," said Catherine Matthis, the Times' spokesperson.

Hopefully Judy will be doing 5 to 10. }(

11. But she's got all those stories Scooter Libby told her she's going to
write! All kinds of wonderful things about bioterror and Iran! She has to "come back to work.. and to life!" She's got another war to justify!

12. The problem here is, NYT, the old gray whore,
can't fire Judy without firing herself.

Who created the atmosphere where a Judith Miller was possible?

Who tried to get off the hook with a lame assed apology and fake self-assessment after our kids were being killed?

:eyes:

Sorry, Ma'am. YOU ARE FIRED. And take your coterie of whores with you. I was done with you after you bent over backward (your fav position) to ignore our second stolen Federal Election.

Sad, really. The myth of our national paper "of record" was such an attractive one. But, for my own part, I'd rather deal in ugly reality than in poisonous myth.

Ciao. :hi:

19. Adios New York Times (may you enjoy an internal cleansing)
 Right, NO sympathy for the NY Times....they know what they did. They nurtured Baghdad Judy and beat the war drums for the Neo-con Regime. And not soon to be forgotten also was their complete blackout on anything having to do with the serious questions about the Elections of 2004. It's all related...

13. After hundreds of thousands of soldiers'/civilians' deaths/wounded...
& the reputation of our country down the tubes, I don't know which is more insulting: That she seeks our understanding & forgiveness or that she thinks we're idiots.

16. NYT was complicit in her BS and now hopes..
that in a few months the heat will be off of them. She will write her book and be a "reporter" on Faux.

21. She's going to write her book and cash in. The NYT has no sense
of journalistic integrity anymore and I doubt they let her go for something like promoting a profitable war.
