BushCo brought standard American business practices into government...
Lying, cheating, stealing, fraud, abuse, etc.... everything that is commonplace and widespread in American business has now become part of the U.S. government thanks to BushCo, a corporate takeover of the federal government

2. Foaming at the top
Privatization means for the people at the cost plus profit for the providers at the expense of the people, and if you don't have it you don't get it.

3. So do business schools that churn out the MBAs ever cover the
history of business fraud? The catastrophes, the scandals, the jail terms? Do the kids coming out of school today know who Michael Milkin is? Did they every read up on Teapot Dome? Do they understand the culture of greed that kicked off the Great Depression?

Or do they just cheat their way through school, and decide that's how you succeed in life, too?

4. catalogs I recall in the 90's had 3 hours of business ethics
I took such a class. The isntructor did a nice job of showing us how to look good to the public by making charitable contributions, etc and making sure you stayed out of jail cuz that was more costly in the long run. 3 hours worth.

9. that is pretty sad . But the only thing business types
seem to respond to is self-interest ethics. I taught in a business school where the prof in charge of an ethics class started out the term by showing a video that had a clear message typed at the beginning that it was not to be used for general consumption....indicating that using it in a course was probably unethical. par for the course.

5. Standard American business practices
Put out quarterly reports that obfuscate the real situation.

Constantly spew out PR that says how great the company is doing and find friendly, influential shills in the media to regurgitate it.

Get a lot of suckers with a few bucks to invest in the company, then pull the rug out from under them when the time is right.

Pay exhorbitant salaries to the top brass while everyone else gets peanuts.

Engage in a little insider trading once in a while (just make sure you don't get caught).

Get the old golden parachute ready for when the shit hits the fan.

8. He promised to run the government
like a business. I was afraid he meant his business, because we all know how he ran them. (into the ground)
