I actually saw some ethnic diversity!!!
I saw 3 African Americans and 2 Asian Americans in one day. But that was because we were in the city of Portland. Me. It's our largest city with 64k+ folks.

We are the "whitest" state in the nation and even Barbara Erenrich said she wanted to come here to see "what it's like to work in a place were white people have an entire state all to themselves".

There is a point to this... The point is I wish we had some diversity. We have plenty of French Speaking people but I'like to have Spanish Speaking neighbors as well. Or anyone else who dares to join us with our harsh winters

1. Only white people want to live in Maine.
So they can hide in the snow.

4. Aaaaaaahhhh.......Maine is so beautiful!
Growing up I spent my summers there....on Drake's Island which is just north of Ogunquit. I can remember getting up very early in the mornings and walking the beach to see the seals while they were still ashore. It is still one of my favorite places in all the world, being by the ocean there is instant contentment for me.
Sadly, the property up there is toooo expensive for me. I'd be thrilled to move there with my passle of little brown kids if I could only afford it;-)
