ATTN: book/art/history lovers -MUST SEE website... take my word for it
If you have a fast connection and you love art, history, manuscripts, literature, etc. THIS SITE WILL KNOCK YOUR EFFIN' SOCKS OFF.

From the British Library... beautifully scanned historic manuscripts...

I found while googling the Lindisfarne Gospels - one of the priceless Celtic illuminated gospels, but there is so much more... the first bound atlas of Europe... the original (hand-written!) Alice in Wonderland, the oldest known printed Book (China, circa, 868) and so many more beautiful books. the magnifying glass feature really wowed. me.

maybe I am just easily impressed, but if you have a cable or other fast connection, check it out (there is a version for slower connections too that I am sure is worth it too)

which I downloaded and installed.

Clicked on several, turned the pages from left to right and from right to left.. Even used the "magnifying glass" from the corner.
